Whitworth Art Gallery Visit.

Whitworth Art Gallery winner of the Museum of the Year 2015 was found in 1889. The gallery is apart of the University of Manchester and is a place of research and education.

As someone who is always in and around Manchester, I was sort of surprised that it took me this long to actually visit the gallery. It’s in the heart of Manchester and can’t be missed especially if you’re a student at Manchester.

The exhibitions currently shown at the gallery are brilliant. Once I walked around the gallery, it was hard to decide which one was my favourite because most had interesting, contemporary pieces of art which I love.

Exhibitions on at the moment include: Andy Warhol, Idris Khan, New Sculpture, Anya Gallaccio and more. Here are some of my favourite pieces of art from the current exhibitions.
